Dr. Maizels will be joining the Carolina Headache Institute in Chapel Hill, starting in May.

Morris Maizels MD is the founding President of the Southern Headache Society, a group of over 200 medical and allied professionals devoted to the treatment of headache. He is the author of numerous articles and textbook chapters on the treatment of migraine and other headaches, and has lectured extensively nationally and internationally. His discovery of a new treatment for migraine in 1996 was reported in national and international media. Dr. Maizels was among the first medical doctors in the United States to become certified in the specialty of Headache Medicine.
